1.) McCarthy's attacks on the Democratic Party could have destroyed the Party all together. America would have become a single party system dictated by the Republican Party.
2.) People could have been soo frightened to voice their opinion that no creative work, no controversial work would be done. No one would be able to challenge any views.
3.) McCarthy and his attacks on communism could have resulted in many more people losing their jobs. Soo many would have been impoverished that the idea of communism might have been appealing. So McCarthy and his efforts to rid communism from the government could have made its beliefs alot more appealing to the peoples who lost there jobs
